Outdoor fun

It was this kind of weekend here in Fairfax...
While the peak foliage has surely passed, we're in a stretch of beautiful, colorful, sparkly days.

Ed is gone moose hunting. He says he hasn't gotten one yet- but maybe he has, and just wants to spend more days at Glover camp!

Elijah and I spent many hours each day playing outside.
Saturday we went for a walk, and then spent the afternoon playing at home.
Today we ventured out for a long walk, and then stopped at the playground.
Elijah LOVED his first experience with the kiddie equipment.
He spent some time climbing...
...and figuring out the slide.
Look at Elijah's hair, from static on the slide. Everytime I touched the poor kid, I gave him a shock. Electrifying!
His favorite part? Eating woodchips.
We're looking forward to seeing Julie, Thomas and Estelle next weekend. Hope to have lots of great pictures to post then.
Have a great week!

Elijah is just so cute! In one picture he looks about two years old! It sure was a great weekend to spend lots of time outside!

I always think Elijah looks like you, but in some of these pictures today, I could really see Edwin.

He looks like a little gymnast on that playground equipment!

It's amazing to see him climbing around at the playground already! I'm sure you'll be spending a lot of time there from here on out!
Recently, a bunch of volunteers from the town of Barrington got together and built an awesome playground for kids of all ages. It's Kyle's second most favorite place to go! The Grand Prix (go carts) take first of course!
I still say Eli looks just like Ed, with the exception of his eyes which remind me of yours! In any event, he's one adorable little boy!! Now that he's "mobile" you're in store for loads of fun...and bumps....and bruises! :)
p/s - the wedding was pretty fun - it was nice having an "adult night out"!

Sandy, what a fab blog you have put together. Elijah is so cute and you look so happy surrounded with all the little ones. I will come back to look at all the pictures and read about your life in beautiful Vermont. Now I must go see your uncle Dickie.
All the best to you and all of your family!
