Two out of three of the Fairfax Alexanders are now down for the count. Alternating our time home with Elijah has resulted in Ed getting really sick- poor guy. Tomorrow we will both stay home- Ed to take care of himself, and I will take care of Elijah. It is our last A-Day class before midterm exams...terrible timing, poor students! What a tough job to miss.
I feel a little unsettled myself, but cannot gauge how much is real and how much is psychological. I'm sure that by this time tomorrow, I will probably be joining the rest of my nuclear family with my head in a bucket...Better bring one to bed with me "just in case."
UGH.

Ahhh..gotta love the "puke bucket" ...feel better soon
Sorry to hear that both Elijah and Ed are sick. Hope you can avoid getting it yourself, Sandy.
Love, Sam, Jr.
Poor Elijah! I remember the first time Estelle was sick. Terrifying!
Estelle has been taking medicine for one illness or another almost every single day since December 4th.
I know how you feel!
Last night she vomited in the night because of things related to the chicken pox.
That was fun.
Thomas stayed home this a.m. so I could teach at the university.
Then I came home, he went to work, and I had to cancel all my lessons in the afternoon. Then I slept for 2 hours at the same time as Estelle!
Everybody over here is sick too!
Oh my God! I hope you all get better soon. We've had enough of those bugs to really be able to sympathize with you. W,C,H had a couple of bugs this winter, but the worst was last winter when all 5 of us were successively knocked down, in fact Cole threw up for 5 days straight, then on the 6th day did not throw up, but then did again on the 7th day. Poor little guy. And Heather was only 11 months at that time. you feel so bad when they're so little and so miserable.
Whenever the kids get sick, I always wonder how working parents manage it all. It must be so frustrating.
Get better soon, and in the meantime, STAY AWAY FROM US!
Oh my. 2 down, 1 to go. Unless we're counting the dog too. Wouldn't that be something? Hope everyone feels better soon. Might not be a bad idea to crack the window for a little bit, just to get some fresh air into the house!!!
And I'm telling you, I swear by the power of Lysol!
