Well, they'd better be! Last night, Lillian graduated valedictorian in her class at Cabot High School. A "bubble class", she called it (which means big), of 27 students! I understand it was a very personalized graduation ceremony- taking nearly 3 hours and giving each senior some time in the spotlight. I'm sure it was lovely!
Lillian will be heading to Harvard in the fall- and we are all very proud of her many accomplishments. Several of her teachers were present at her graduation party, and it was fun to hear the amazing things they had to say about Lillian!
Here are some photos from the fantastic party that Susan and Cedric hosted. I'll start with the group shots:
The Alexanders:
The Slocums:The Graduate:
Paul said the 3 biggest insurance liabilities are: 1) pitbulls, 2) swimming pools, and 3) trampolines. No pitbulls or pools are Susan & Cedric's, so Elijah was obviously drawn to the next-most-dangerous item...the trampoline.
Notice lots of adult "spotters," just waiting to catch a flying kid:
Darlene looks poised and ready!
Martha and Chris will be celebrating their 27th anniversary next week!
Bobcat and the 'Yote
Two more funny boys (but I don't know what their "hunting" nicknames are)
The food was absolutely scrumptious, the weather was perfect, and it was a fantastic way to celebrate Lillian! Thank you, Susan and Cedric, for such a wonderful day!

Thank you Sandy for all the photos! I was hoping for some this morning!
Did Tyler dye his hair blond or is it just the photos?
Party looks fun!
Mom and I loved looking at the photos as we missed being at the party. Everyone seemed to really enjoy themselves.
Julie, I think Tyler dyed his hair for some Track event as he is the coach.
Elijah looks as cute as can be in his little button down shirt - so grown up!
Happy Vacation Sandy and Ed!
