The excitement began last week, with a birthday card from Lisa and Dan. Followed by another cute card yesterday from Grammie (with money!)- Elijah thought that was pretty special, and says, "TataGaga" (Thank-you, Grammie)
Just as I had 3 baby showers, I think Elijah is destined to always have 3 birthday parties. There are pros and cons to living so far away from my family!
Here are the photos from party #1, at "Miss Tammy's House" (Elijah's daycare). Tammy was actually recognizing 3 of the childrens' birthdays- Elijah (28th), Rhiannon (the girl to his left turns 2 on the 30th) and Olivia (the girl with the dark hair, turned 8 on the 12th). Tammy made cupcakes and we brought some "sun cookies" from the Foothills Bakery. The children made birthday crowns as their craft and enjoyed some delicious eats.
In this picture- Tiller, Elijah and Rhiannon:
Clockwise- Tiller, Elijah, Edie, Olivia, Jeffrey: Yummy!
Tammy is one smart woman to have the birthday party (with all that sugar) in the afternoon....just before the kids leave for the day!

Birthday part #2 will be at my sister Paula's house on Saturday (Elijah's actually birthday), and party #3 will be back at home with Mommy, Daddy and Zoe on Sunday. I can't wait for Elijah to open our gifts!

How cute! Eli looks like a preschooler in those pictures! So grown up! I was tempted to buy him some "big boy" training pants, but I don't think YOU are quite ready for that yet... :)
Can't wait for his party on Saturday!!
Awesome pics! See you tomorrow :)
Elijah looks like he is truly enjoying being King for A Day with his crown and chocolate cupcake. That's a shot for the baby book. What a nice daycare provider to have a little party.
What fun to see pictures of Tyler's day care Bday party. I sent my card so early as I was worried I'd get so caught up in Thanksgiving that I'd forget!
Happy birthday Elijah! We love you!
Aunt Lisa and Grammie
Haha, Lisa- Ed is ALWAYS slipping up and calling Elijah "Tyler."
Oops! Sorry Sandy! I didn't even notice, of course, until I reread my comment! I'm as scatter brained as ever!
Happy Thanksgiving! Save travels to see your family this weekend!
Love the chocolate all over the face!
Happy First Birthday Elijah! May God Grant You Many Years!
XO auntie Laura
Estelle hollered out "HE HAS CHOCOLATE ON HIS FACE!"
