The temperatures might have risen above 90 degrees today, but we barely noticed....Because we were in the World's Best Place on a hot day...Shadow Lake!
The water was refreshing, the company was excellent. Doesn't Wayne look as cool as a cucumber?
Don;t get me wring, that was some strong sun. The shadow cast over Elijah is Ed holding a towel, which we took turns doing for the last hour we were there. Needless to say, we bought one of those big, tilty beach umbrellas at Aubuchon Hardware on our way home.

Please, Mom, can't we stay just a little longer? Of course, he was sound asleep within moments of leaving Stone Shore.
We had a great time with Joanie, Julie, Estelle, Lena, Darlene, Wes, Wayne, Cole and Heather...we didn;t even leave until close to 5PM!!! If only we lived closer, we'd be right back up there tomorrow morning :-)

So glad you spent such a super hot day at Shadow! Mom and I are so pleased that the family is getting good use of it during this heat wave!
What great memories are being formed for Elijah when he gets older and thinks back on summers at Shadow with cousins!
Wouldn't Wayne Henry be pleased to think of his grandchildren having so much fun in the little "kiddie's pool" that he built for his own children!
